For safety reasons, the new bridge over the Stolp Canal between Woltersdorf (Oder-Spree) and Rüdersdorf near Berlin (Märkisch-Oderland) on the L 30 state road could not be opened to traffic today. The bridge will remain closed to vehicle traffic until further notice.

Update, 17.07.2024, 5 p.m. - Information from the state road authority:
The opening to traffic of the new bridge over the Stolp Canal between Woltersdorf (Oder-Spree) and Rüdersdorf near Berlin (Märkisch-Oderland) on the L 30 state road, which was planned for late this afternoon, has been delayed. The work on the footpaths and cycle paths could not be completed in time.
The opening of the bridge is expected to be postponed by one week to next Wednesday, 24 July 2024. Until then, the structure will remain closed.
The diversion route via Berghofer Weg in Woltersdorf will remain in place until the opening.
The state enterprise and the construction company are making every effort to carry out the work safely and quickly for everyone.
