Construction measures
Here you will find information on current construction projects in our municipality.
Berliner Strasse
The next construction phase on Berliner Straße (L233) is expected to begin in March 2026. This will involve connecting the new junction on the B1 to the already renovated carriageway of the "old" Berliner Straße. A cycle path will also be built for the area between the B1 and the connection to the "old" Berliner Straße.
Following this work, the next construction phases will see the completion of the remaining areas around the lido and from Bergstraße to Friedrichstraße.
Intensive negotiations are currently underway between the responsible state road authority and the municipality regarding the construction of a cycle path along the Marschstall and the "Am Wasserturm" residential area.Information from 12/03/2026:
Due to the weather, the planned gap closure at junction B1 could not be carried out in January/February 2026. However, to ensure that the lido is accessible by vehicle at the start of the bathing season, this construction phase has now been brought forward.
The current construction section from the Meisterhäuser to the industrial estate is expected to last until the end of April. The laying of the new asphalt surface is planned for the 16th week, so that traffic in this area is expected to be reopened at the end of the 17th, beginning of the 18th week.
In the meantime, no further work is taking place at the B1 junction, so that it is possible to reach the industrial estate via the already renovated Berliner Straße.
Only when the current construction phase at the lido has been completed will the 50 metre long gap from junction B1 to Berliner Straße be completed and the footpath and cycle path in this area finished. The junction will then be fully closed for this purpose. Work there is scheduled to begin in the 18th/19th week.
Information from 17.04.2026:
The section of road just before the entrance to the lido up to the road "An den Meisterhäusern" is currently fully closed. Asphalt work is currently being carried out here, followed by remaining work. As soon as this section is open to traffic again, the next full closure will be put in place.
The B1 / L233 junction is expected to be completely closed from 24 April. The construction work there will take around four weeks. This will be followed by a further full closure on the L233 between the Bergstraße / Fischerweg junction and the junction with Friedrichstraße for road improvements. We will inform you of the exact duration of this measure in good time.Information dated 13 May 2026:
At the end of calendar week 21 (18–22 May 2026), preparations will be made for the necessary traffic safety measures and road closures for the section of Berliner Straße between Friedrichstraße and Bergstraße. The works will involve a full closure of the carriageway and will commence on 26 May 2026 with the removal of the existing asphalt surface; they will subsequently include the complete reconstruction of the carriageway and footpath, modifications to junctions / access roads, as well as ancillary facilities and green spaces.
The properties in question will then only be accessible on foot until further notice. Where necessary, we ask that you park your vehicles outside the construction area and off your own property before the date mentioned above (26 May 2026; 6.00 am) outside the construction site and away from your properties, and to make use of nearby parking facilities where possible. Vehicles can be parked free of charge in the car park on Ringstraße (opposite the fairground).

Berliner Straße, from Bergstraße towards the B1 (Frankfurter Chaussee), remains open to traffic. The junction of Ringstraße with Berliner Straße will be closed (dead end), whilst the junction with Friedrichstraße will remain open.
Recycling collections (residual waste, ‘Yellow Dot’ items, paper, etc.) will continue as normal; however, please ensure your bins are placed at a collection point accessible to the waste collection service, ideally at the start or end of the aforementioned construction zone (in this case, Bergstraße and the junction with Friedrichstraße). To avoid any confusion, we recommend that you label your bins.Access for the fire service and emergency services will be ensured throughout the construction period. In urgent cases, emergency vehicles will, of course, be directed through the construction site where possible or granted access to the properties concerned.
The construction project is scheduled for completion on 31 August 2026. Local residents will be informed in good time of any changes to the schedule.
If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to the site staff on site!
Latest information as at 13 August 2026:
Complete closure of the entire section of Berliner Straße from 17 August 2026:
As part of the roadworks currently being carried out on behalf of the State Roads Authority, there will be a further restriction in the Berliner Straße area.
The section of Berliner Straße up to Friedrichstraße, which is currently still open to traffic, will be completely closed from Monday, 17 August 2026, at 6.00 am, until, it is expected, Monday, 31 August 2026. It will not be possible to enter or drive through this area whilst the closure is in place. The cul-de-sac by the community centre is also affected by the closure. Residents who park their vehicles in this area are asked to move them outside the construction zone and away from the cul-de-sac by the community centre before the closure begins. Access to the affected areas will not be possible whilst the road is fully closed.
We would ask all local residents and road users for their understanding regarding these necessary restrictions. The closure is required so that the outstanding tarmac works can be carried out and the road surface in this area can be completed.

Brückenstraße school campus - rear development
Planning is currently underway for the rear access to the school campus in Brückenstraße via Woltersdorfer Straße. In addition to car parking facilities, bicycle parking spaces are also planned.
The district responsible for bus transport has ruled out serving the rear development by bus, as Brückenstraße is already directly connected. For this reason, the construction of a bus turnaround loop is being dispensed with and additional car parking spaces are being created instead.
Floodlight system of the MSV

Work on the new floodlight system at the stadium grounds in Rüdersdorf will be completed by the start of calendar week 30.
Following the successful implementation in the spring of measures to protect the pitch and ensure the smooth running of matches, the remaining electrical work was carried out in late June and July. This was immediately followed by the final assembly, including the last remaining tasks to complete the facility. A functional test was carried out and proved successful. The fine-tuning of the floodlights to illuminate the pitch will take place during the darker months of autumn.
Friedenstraße/Fürstenwalder Straße

Ground-breaking expansion of Friedenstraße and the drainage systems in Fürstenwalder Straße, OT Rüdersdorf: The municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin is planning the ground-breaking expansion of Friedenstraße and the expansion of the rainwater drainage systems in Fürstenwalder Straße. From March 2026, the wastewater sewer in Friedenstraße will first be replaced by the Strausberg-Erkner Water Association (WSE). Once this work has been completed, the road construction work will begin by the construction company commissioned by the municipality. Construction is expected to start at the beginning of July 2026. Firstly, the drainage systems in Friedenstrasse will be relocated and then the road will be completely closed to traffic before the road surface is extended. Overall, the construction work in Friedenstrasse is expected to last until the end of the year. The expansion of the drainage systems in Fürstenwalder Straße is therefore planned for the first half of 2027. As the paving in the carriageway area of Fürstenwalder Straße has to be removed to lay the drainage pipes, a full road closure is required to carry out this work. The full width of the carriageway will therefore also be resurfaced as part of this construction work. → To the general plan
Residents' meeting on 8 April 2026

Please note that subsequent changes to the planning presented are possible.Information dated 6 August 2026:
The first construction phase extends from the area around house numbers 7 and 10 to the junction with Hans-Schröer-Straße. A full road closure will be in place in this area whilst the works are being carried out. As things stand, work on this construction phase is expected to continue until the end of October 2026.
During the construction work, access to the properties for residents of Friedenstraße may not be guaranteed at times. We therefore ask that you make the necessary arrangements regarding access to your property directly with the construction company on site. Parking on Friedenstraße will not be possible during the construction period. Vehicles should be parked outside the restricted area.
Together with the building contractor, we will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum and carry out the work as quickly as possible.

Hennickendorf after-school care centre - status at the end of January 2026

The construction project for the combined school and after-school care centre building in Hennickendorf is currently in work phase 4, which means that the engineering firm Seidel commissioned with the project is preparing the approval planning.
A ground investigation has already been carried out, the financing has been included in the budget and the resolutions of the municipal council have been passed.
Funding for the construction project has been applied for from the ILB.
The building permit documents are to be submitted to the building supervisory authority at the end of February. Once planning permission has been granted, the work will be put out to tender and commissioned.
Completion of the construction project is planned for the end of 2027.
New containerised after-school care centre for 80 children in Rüdersdorf, Brückenstr.

In the district of Rüdersdorf, a containerised after-school care centre for 80 children is to be built in Brückenstrasse behind the Brückenstrasse 77a daycare centre.
The resolutions of the municipal council have been passed and the funding is included in the 2026 budget.
The necessary tender for the service has been issued. The contract was awarded to the company KB-Container.
This company is currently working on the approval planning and the planning of the media, and the building application should be submitted by the end of February 2026. The container facility is scheduled to go into operation for the new school year in September 2026.
The RLD company from Rüdersdorf has just cleared the construction site and freed it from bushes and small trees to accommodate the foundations of the container building.
Kita Am Friedhof - Status at the end of January 2026

On 21 August 2023, the company MOD21 was awarded the contract to build a modular daycare centre for 60 children. The modules were installed at the beginning of 2024 and the interior work began. The construction was essentially completed on 9 October 2024 and an initial acceptance inspection was carried out, which ended with a defects report and a list of remaining work.
In March 2025, the improvised operation without a kitchen was put into operation after significant defects had been rectified. Since then, the heating has also only been provided by gas heating, as there is not enough electricity capacity available from the energy supplier. This should be completed by around March 2026.
At the end of 2025, the car parks were constructed by Märkisch Grün and handed over to the public. The car park also includes a barrier-free parking space.
The remaining outstanding work is now to be completed by MOD21 by the end of February 2026, thereby finalising the construction project.
