    The official confirmation of registration includes the surname, first names, academic title, date of birth, date of moving in or out, date of registration or deregistration, address and an indication of whether the property is a sole residence, a main residence or a secondary residence.

    Once you have registered or deregistered with the registration office, you will receive written confirmation in the form of an official registration certificate.

    The official confirmation of registration includes the surname, first names, academic title, date of birth, date of moving in or out, date of registration or deregistration, address and an indication of whether the property is a sole residence, a main residence or a secondary residence.

    In certain circumstances, public authorities, institutions or other bodies require the presentation of a certificate of residence.
    This contains the following details:
    surname, first name, date and place of birth, current address, date of moving in.
    A certificate of residence is issued immediately upon visiting the office in person and presenting a form of identification.

    No fees apply following a successful assessment when registering online

    In principle, a fee of EUR 6.00 is payable.

    In accordance with the Brandenburg State Schedule of Fees, an exemption from the fee for the issue of a certificate of residence for social security purposes (e.g. pension and benefits matters) is possible.
