The municipality has notified the "Socially Integrative City" funding programme of an additional requirement for the ongoing renovation work on the buildings of the KITA and the Rappelkiste day nursery, including the outdoor facilities.
This has now been approved by the Cottbus State Office for Construction and Transport for the "Brückenstraße / Friedrich-Engels-Ring" measure and financially supported in two grant notifications with a total of 450,000 euros in urban development funding. The funds are made up of one third each from federal, state and municipal funds.
