To ensure the quality of drinking water, the Strausberg-Erkner Water Board regularly carries out pipe network flushing. This work takes place exclusively on weekdays. An overview of the affected streets can be found in the table below.
We recommend that, on the days when the pipe network is being flushed, you avoid uncontrolled water usage between 07:00 and 15:00, i.e. do not run washing machines or dishwashers.
There may be temporary fluctuations in water pressure and cloudiness in the water in the streets mentioned and the surrounding area. If the water becomes cloudy – which is not a health concern – please let the water run until it is clear again.
Furthermore, after the pipe network flushing, you should check the filters in your domestic water system and clean them if necessary.
