Happy New Year - the municipality near Berlin wishes all citizens a belated "Happy New Year 2010" - above all health, success and happiness in their private and professional lives.
This year, Rüdersdorf will be 775 years old! So we have a special year ahead of us with many celebrations, festivities and surprises. If you would like to start the next exciting twelve months together with us, you are cordially invited to the first public New Year's reception of the municipality on Friday, 22 January 2010, at 7.00 pm on the market square in Kalkberge (Rüdersdorf, Dr.-Wilhelm-Külz-Straße).
At the New Year's reception on the occasion of the Day of Volunteering, which took place on 5 December 2009, four people were subsequently honoured by the municipality for their voluntary work in the areas of social affairs, health, education, culture, the environment and transport.
The results of the painting competition, which was held at the local schools in October and November 2009, will also be presented. The drawings and paintings will be displayed on a screen. Mayor André Schaller will also present a logo specially developed for Rüdersdorf's "775th anniversary". This is based on the numerous contributions to the painting competition.
The municipality also provides a shuttle bus. It runs from the market square within the municipality as required.
