From Monday 3 August 2009, the cycle path on the L302 between Schöneiche and Rüdersdorf will be open and therefore safe to cycle on again. Before construction work began on the 1.5 km long section in November 2008, cyclists were forced to use the carriageway.
An anniversary cycle ride will take place on 31 August 2009 to mark the opening of the cycle path. Everyone is invited to take part.
