On 29 May 2015, the youth working group organised the first children's party at the Herzfelde community centre, to which all pre-school children in the community were cordially invited. Around 100 children and their parents accepted the invitation and were able to experience an exciting day.
Opened by Mayor André Schaller, the children were offered an exciting event on this day. At various stations, the children put their creative skills to the test in numerous small competitions, at make-up and craft stations and even at a street painting station. Of course, a bouncy castle was a must at such an event, which was used by many children throughout the afternoon.
In addition, performances by Mirko the clown from the Rüdersdorf carnival community, the line dancers and DJ Jacke Junior created a colourful supporting programme for the visitors.
We would like to thank all visitors, young and old, as well as the hard-working helpers and supporters from various associations, companies and employees of the day-care centres who made this festival possible.
We are already looking forward to next year's children's festival with you.
