On the morning of Saturday, 20 April 2013, numerous in-house baked goods were sold for a charitable cause at the Friedrich bakery in Rüdersdorf.
This campaign was actively supported by the well-known singer, presenter and entertainer Wolfgang Lippert, who took part in the sale himself. As an ambassador for the German Children's Fund and UNICEF, the promotion of children's projects is particularly close to his heart.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to support the work of special schools in the region. In this context, a charity concert is also planned for 7 June 2013 in Rüdersdorf's Kulturhaus. At this event, special needs pupils from all over Brandenburg will be able to perform their pieces on stage for the first time. This form of performance, planned as therapy, gives the children a unique opportunity to present their skills to an audience.
The sale was initiated by the Gewerbeverein Rüdersdorf e.V. (Rüdersdorf Trade Association) and supported by the Friedrich bakery and Wolfgang Lippert, among others.
