On Saturday, 22 June 2013, the FunCup took place for the fourth time on the sports field in Hennickendorf, which is located directly on Lake Stienitzsee and was provided by Hennickendorfer SV 90 e.V. and V³ Hennickendorf 2000 e.V.
In glorious summer weather, not only Mayor André Schaller, who was represented by his own municipal team, worked up a sweat. Seven other teams from very different areas, such as the DLRG Hennickendorf, the Wachtelstürmer leisure team and sports teams such as HC Hennickendorf 625 e. V., also took on the challenges of team sports. As every year, the sporting disciplines included handball, football and beach volleyball, in which the Car-Rossis recreational team ultimately came out on top with a well-deserved first place.
A wonderful day of sport for young and old is due not least and above all to the organisation by HC Hennickendorf 625 e. V.. The tournament's aim of strengthening cooperation and cohesion between different clubs in the community was definitely a big step closer.
