On Tuesday, 27 June 2017 at 2:30 pm, the photo exhibition "Cloudscapes and Reflections" by the Rüdersdorf photo group was opened in the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin.
After Mayor André Schaller welcomed the visitors with words of welcome, the photo group gave an introduction to the creation and idea behind the exhibition.
The Rüdersdorf photography group was founded in 2011 by people from Rüdersdorf and the surrounding area who are dedicated to photography as a hobby and passion. The interest and joy in photography and the desire to delve deeper into this beautiful subject are at the centre of the group. The photo group also accompanies the events here in Rüdersdorf and the surrounding area with photographs and documentaries.
Afterwards, over coffee and cake, various discussions were held with the exhibitors and the various works of art were examined.
Every year, the Rüdersdorf photo group works on a self-imposed theme, which this year is dedicated to "cloudscapes and reflections".
The clouds in the sky can become true giants and form interesting, peculiar and exciting shapes. These can be indescribable but also interpretable, such as elephants, lindworms, dragons, fish and much more.
Reflections surround us all the time. This can be on building facades, in puddles or on car bodies, to name just a few examples.
The exhibition can be viewed from 27 June to 24 August during town hall opening hours.
