On 1 August 2022, some of the members of the Rüdersdorf near Berlin Youth Fire Brigade set off for the area around Kolberg – Kloptowo, to be precise.
The journey went smoothly and they received a warm welcome on arrival. After settling into their bedrooms and having a quick look around the area, they lit the barbecue. The first day drew to a close with a cosy get-together and a delicious meal.
The second day was spent visiting an amusement park. The children had a brilliant time there and wanted to stay even longer.
As the weather was lovely in Poland too, they headed to the beach on the third day. They played, went for a swim, collected jellyfish and everyone had a great time.
As we didn’t want to neglect the educational aspect, we visited a museum on the fourth day and then headed back to the beach.
There was plenty of sport on the programme too. On the fifth day, we went canoeing.
Unfortunately, this trip also came to an end and we set off for home on 6 August 2022.
