Exhibition opening "Turbulenzen" - Marzahn greets Rüdersdorf

The art exhibition "Turbulenzen" - Marzahn greets Rüdersdorf with selected paintings by artist Christel Bachmann was opened on 13 September 2016 at 3 p.m. in the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin.
After the official opening by Mayor André Schaller, curator Michael Wiedemann and artist Christel Bachmann, Ms Bachmann and Mr Wiedemann gave a very interesting and informative tour of the exhibition. She described in detail how and, in particular, for what reasons the paintings were created. She also told little anecdotes about individual works.
The artist Harald Metzkes also accepted the invitation to the town hall and thus paid tribute to Ms Bachmann's exhibition.
The common thread of the exhibition led via the Wuhle hiking trail to the landscape on the Kienberg, the place where Christel Bachmann lives. Other influences are the selective turbulence of the IGA, getting older or time as a problem. The pictures are on the one hand an expression of current events, and on the other a homage to nature, life and pure joie de vivre.
The exhibition can be viewed until 11 November 2016 during town hall opening hours.
