Until now, there has been no permanent place where extracts from Renate Radoy's collection have been permanently accessible to the public. Shortly after her 94th birthday, selected, particularly characteristic exhibits have now found a permanent home in Rüdersdorf town hall.
The artist, a true Rüdersdorf original, is known for her works of art on eggs created using a unique engraving technique. Whether local motifs, detailed landscapes or even Goethe's Easter walk on a hen's egg - each work is characterised by exceptional precision, imagination and dedication.
For the new permanent exhibition, the former porter's hatch in the foyer of the town hall was specially converted into an illuminated display case by a local carpentry firm. In future, all visitors to the town hall will be able to discover Renate Radoy's fascinating works as soon as they enter the building.
Die feierliche Eröffnung findet öffentlich im Foyer des Rathauses statt. Eine vorherige Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich.
In 2022, Renate Radoy was the first citizen of the municipality to be honoured with one of the municipality's now three benches of honour. Her idea of the so-called "memory eggs", which not only meet the highest artistic and craftsmanship standards, but are also awarded on special occasions, has since been patented and is known far beyond the municipality's borders.
Ergänzung, am 16.11.2025:
Am 15.11.2025 ist Renate Radoy verstorben - die Eröffnung findet wie geplant statt.
