On Friday, 20 June 2025, the grounds around the Herzfelde community centre (OT Herzfelde, Möllenstraße 12, 15378 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin) will once again be transformed into a colourful play paradise for families. From 15:00 to 18:00, the 9th children's festival of the municipality will take place there. Invited are toddlers to primary school children, their parents, grandparents and siblings - in other words, the whole family.
This year's popular festival once again offers a varied programme of activities and entertainment organised by numerous social and municipal institutions as well as local providers. The aim is to give children the opportunity to play, have fun and get active, while at the same time giving interested parents an insight into the diverse range of activities on offer in the municipality - especially the municipal daycare centres.
A special highlight this year is the new 7 x 5 metre stage, on which dance performances, sports activities and fitness programmes, including special ones for pregnant women, will be presented. Entertainment is provided by the "Bunter Hund" meadow circus, which invites visitors to join in with an interactive circus story, a clown and imaginative costumes.
In addition, young visitors can look forward to the following offers, among others:
- Pony riding
- Bouncy castle
- Water games with the Herzfelde volunteer fire brigade
- Face painting for children
- Creative stations with craft activities (e.g. designing treasure chests, painting bags, making bead necklaces)
- Tattoo stations
- Sports programmes with FC Wacker and the Razorbacks
- Flea market stalls with baby accessories and toys
- Dance performances (including Zumba, Rüdersdorfer Karnevalsgemeinschaft e. V.)
There will also be plenty to eat and drink: in addition to bratwurst, waffles, coffee and cake, there will be soft ice cream, bubble tea, soft drinks and sweets on offer.
Mayor Sabine Löser and local mayor Tobias Zorn will officially open the children's festival.
