This is the 6th instalment in the series featuring the boy from the suburbs.
The book starts off very innocuously. Seagulls screaming, sunset, pure idyll. A fishing boat that is shaken a little by a vibration under the water.
Then it's off to Mittelstrasse in Eggersdorf. A murder? and even a bank robbery at the savings bank in Strausberg? And something else and more, and everything is somehow connected. Cleverly interwoven, superbly written, the suspense is maintained, you don't want to put the book down.
In this novel, Mario Worm once again creates an atmosphere in which the reader could find themselves. But it is not a factual account. Nevertheless, you can remember some of these events.
This is about more than just fish dying in the Oder and the sea. It's a novel that makes you think.
