The municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin, in the district of Märkisch-Oderland and on the outskirts of Berlin, is located in the districts of Rüdersdorf, Hennickendorf, Herzfelde and Lichtenow in a scenic and industrially interesting area with open-cast mining and the building materials industry, a health centre and large forest and lake landscapes. More than 170 employees in our municipal administration ensure the quality of life of around 16,000 residents every day. Support us in this endeavour.
We are looking - subject to the approval of financial resources - for the next possible date for the Friedrich-Anton-von-Heinitz-Gymnasium in Rüdersdorf for a
School Social Worker (m/f/d)
in part-time employment. This position is initially to be filled for a limited period of 24 months, whereby we are aiming for a long-term employment relationship. If all requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay grade S 12.
Your tasks include inparticular
- Counselling for pupils and parents in the event of poor performance, truancy, school refusal and individual problems, especially in the school environment, and referral to further help or specialist institutions in the event of multiple problems
- Intervene and contribute to the management of conflicts, crises and incidents of violence
- Concept development and realisation of offers and projects to strengthen self-competence and promote social skills in groups, especially in the area of exercise
- Organisation of open discussion and contact offers, individual socio-pedagogical support and lifeworld-related counselling
- enge Kooperation mit der Schulleitung, den Lehrkräften, den Eltern sowie externen Hilfesystemen und gestalten Übergänge
- Counselling teachers and parents on problems with pupils and groups of pupils
- Initiation of or participation in holiday programmes and international youth exchange measures in the respective social area in cooperation with local and supra-local stakeholders
- Consideration of gender-specific differences, if necessary with corresponding offers
- Supra-regional and professional networking, self-evaluation
- Networking in the community, in particular cooperation with parents, school support associations, youth centres in the social areas, other social area teams and youth social work projects (work meetings)
- (Further) development of a quality development concept
- Creation of continuous contact opportunities, taking into account the new media

You bring with you:
- Completed studies in the field of social pedagogy or social work (diploma or bachelor's degree) or comparable social pedagogical training
- Experience in the field of youth welfare and schools
- High level of social competence, in particular decision-making and conflict resolution skills as well as empathy
- Initiative and decisiveness
- Communication skills and a confident demeanour
- Ability to work independently, conceptually and strategically
- You demonstrate a high degree of responsibility and organisational strength
- Applicable knowledge of the Basic Law, BGB, social legislation, in particular SGB I, SGB VIII, Brandenburg School Act, Child and Youth Protection Act, Youth Labour Protection Act, Municipal Constitution of the State of Brandenburg

- Class B driving licence
