On Tuesday, 6 September 2011 at 2.30 pm, representatives of the South African Embassy were guests at the town hall. Pupils from the Friedrich-Anton-von-Heinitz-Gymnasium successfully took part in the 2010 school competition on political education and won first prize under the title "Rainbow Land South Africa - more than football". The results of the competition entries were compiled in a travelling exhibition, which will now be on display in the town hall until 19 September.
We took this as an opportunity to invite the Rüdersdorf pupils and representatives of the South African Embassy to a round table discussion to promote intercultural exchange.
