After a short renovation period, the jetty in Hennickendorf was reopened to shipping traffic today. The dolphins were corroded, so that stability was only possible to a limited extent. The planned funds for renovation were cancelled, so the jetty was closed in 2016 after consultation with an expert. At the end of September, with the release of the funds for renovation by the municipal council, the tendering process could begin. The company Grabowski Stegbau completed the final work this week so that the Kutzker shipping company can start its regular service to Hennickendorf again. Some minor work will be carried out in the near future, but this will not affect shipping traffic.
