From 21.05.2015 - 27.05.2015, preventive spraying against the oak processionary moth will be carried out on open spaces and roads in the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin.
The Herzfelde daycare centre will be sprayed on 21 May 2016.
On 23 May 2016, the cemeteries Friedensstraße 7b, R.-Breitscheid-Straße 86, Am Friedhof 5, Hauptstraße 67 in Herzfelde, Siedlerstraße in Lichtenow, as well as the municipal roads where infestations have been detected in recent years or where oak trees are present, will be sprayed.
Spraying with Neem Protect, an insecticide, is carried out from the ground. The respective areas must be cordoned off during spraying and for approx. four hours afterwards. The respective areas are marked with barrier tapes (red and white).
Spraying can only be carried out for a limited period depending on the stage of development of the oak processionary moth larvae.
