As every year, the fight against the oak processionary moth will soon begin in the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin.
Preventive spraying is carried out on public green spaces, cemeteries, day-care centres, schools and roads in the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin. Spraying with the insecticide Neem Protect (NeemPro®tect is used as a biocide with an insecticidal effect) is carried out from the ground.
Spraying can only be carried out for a limited period depending on the stage of development of the oak processionary moth larvae.
The execution at the cemeteries will take place on Monday, 08.05.2023 and Tuesday, 09.05.2023.
During the spraying and for about four hours afterwards, the relevant areas will be marked with barrier tape (red and white) and signs. We thank you for your understanding.
