On 5 June 2024, the volunteer platform of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin will be presented at Museumspark Rüdersdorf, Heinitzstraße 42, from 5:30 pm.
The volunteer platform is a kind of social volunteer network for clubs or committed groups. On the one hand, internal organisational processes such as practice times or arrangements for events can be made on the platform. On the other hand, it also serves as an external platform for advertising events or communicating offers or requests for help.
The free service can be accessed and used both via the Rüdersdorf-bei-Berlin app and via the website ehrenamt.ruedersdorf.de.
The project and the platform will be presented at the launch event on 5 June. This will be followed by an initial introduction and instructions on how to use the platform. At the same time, there will also be an exchange on wishes and expectations, as further development of the volunteering platform is planned as part of the funding project.
Volunteers and interested parties are cordially invited to the event. There will be a small snack and free drinks. Please register at ehrenamtsplattform@ruedersdorf.de by 2 June 2024.
Background:
The platform is an open source solution and is being developed as part of the "Volunteering platform: Digital.verein.t" project. The project is coordinated by neuland21 e.V., a non-profit think & do tank that is committed to innovative regional development that meets the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
The foundation was laid with the volunteer platform in Herzberg (Elster). The subsequent use and realisation is being funded within the Region gestalten programme of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development."
