Many children and young people, including those in our district, do not have the chance to grow up in their families or in a safe environment. However, it is important for the well-being of these children to live in a stable environment and to experience genuine warmth and security.
The Youth Welfare Office's foster care service therefore endeavours to provide children with a foster family to enable them to grow up in a family that is suitable for children.
We are looking for loving and responsible women, men and couples who can provide a child with temporary or permanent warmth, security, support and upbringing.
The Youth Welfare Office therefore organises regular information evenings on the subject of foster children and foster parenthood.
Interested parties will be given an initial overview of what foster parenthood means.
The next event will take place on Tuesday, 13 March 2018 from 18:00 to 19:30 at the Oberstufenzentrum Strausberg, Wriezener Str. 28 (room see notice board on site)
