OUT ON THE WATER
"Your way to the most beautiful water destinations" is what the "Water Compass" now promises for tourists and residents of the region. The brochure was created as a collaboration between the town of Erkner and the neighbouring municipalities of Schöneiche bei Berlin, Rüdersdorf bei Berlin, Woltersdorf and Grünheide (Mark). The focus is on offers for canoeists, SUPs and motorboats. A large map of the surrounding area provides the necessary orientation for selected tour descriptions, including an excursion into the jungle-like Löcknitz or tours along the idyllic Spree meadows. In addition to contact details for local providers - both hire and catering - the brochure also contains further tips for excursions in the five towns.
After the Ausflugsfalter, the Wasserkompass is another joint project of the closely networked tourist communities and will be distributed in the region from Whitsun. With a print run of 10,000 copies, it will also gradually be available from partners in the Oder-Spree Lake District and in Berlin at the start of the season. Perhaps the brochure will even help some people discover something unknown in their home region.
