For the last time, the LAG Märkische Seen has called for a project selection procedure: Project sponsors who are able to submit complete applications at short notice can still submit their measure to the office until 15 April 2022. After this date, all funding for the current funding period will be exhausted.
However, applicants who are already interested in funding from 2023 are invited to present their ideas now, as the Local Action Group (LAG) Märkische Seen is once again taking part in the competition to select the LEADER regions in Brandenburg 2023-2027, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection of the State of Brandenburg (MLUK), just in time for its 20th anniversary.
This requires an update of the regional development strategy (RES), in which the objectives and project ideas and thus the funding priorities for the LEADER region are defined together with the local population. Interested parties can participate both digitally via the platform https://adhocracy.plus/lag-maerkische-seen/ and in workshops. At the public events at Storkow Castle (4 April) and in the Müncheberg parish church (26 April), citizens will have the opportunity to raise issues and actively help shape the new regional development strategy. The LAG wants to talk to interested parties from all stakeholder groups about how they envisage their future in rural areas - what projects, collaborations and partnerships citizens believe are necessary for this and what potential and challenges they see for the LEADER region.
