Berlin/Schöneiche/Rüdersdorf - With the start of the new school year in Berlin and Brandenburg, the S-Bahn line S3 will once again offer a direct connection to Berlin city centre. To this end, it is necessary to adjust the timetable from 21 August 2017. In this context, the timetable of Schöneicher - Rüdersdorfer Straßenbahn GmbH will also change on the tram line 88 operated by the company.
Essentially, all journeys will run 4 minutes earlier, except for the additional booster journey for the morning school transport to the Rüdersdorf school centre. This journey leaves Friedrichshagen at 07:08 and arrives at the Breitscheidstraße stop at 07:40.
In addition, the timetable will be extended on Saturdays. Between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. we offer a 20-minute interval and after that we run every half hour until midnight.
Despite the construction work on the Rüdersdorf Kalkgrabenbrücke bridge, the SRS will run continuously to Alt-Rüdersdorf from the start of the school year.
The current Tram 88 timetable leaflets are available to all passengers on SRS trains and at our customer office at the SRS depot at Dorfstraße 15 in Schöneiche.
Up-to-date information on connections and fares in the VBB can be obtained via the SRS website www.srs-tram.de and also via the online information service of the Berlin Brandenburg Transport Association www.fahrinfo.vbb.de.
