Due to the severe drought this year, the trees are shedding their leaves earlier than usual.
According to the municipality's street cleaning statutes of 24 November 2005, leaf disposal is part of the general dirty cleaning. The general cleaning of the streets has been partially transferred to the property owners - the extent of this can be seen in the street cleaning statutes.
From the 39th calendar week, leaf bags will once again be handed out at the municipal office during opening hours. The leaf bags have a capacity of 120 litres and cost €1.00 each.
As every year, the municipal building yard will collect the leaves every Tuesday from October, as soon as sufficient registrations have been received. To ensure disposal on Tuesdays, please register by 3.00 pm the day before (Mondays) at the latest. You can register by telephone on 033638 85-123. The leaf bags must be put out at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning if they are fully loaded and appropriately sealed.
The opening hours of the Citizens' Office are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
