Renovation work on the Kalkgrabenbrücke bridge (Hans-Striegelski-Straße-Bergstraße) is expected to begin in the 32nd calendar week and will continue until autumn 2018. During the construction work, the tram will cross the bridge and one lane will be available for motorised traffic. Two-way traffic will be regulated by a traffic light system.
As a first preparatory measure, the lane intended for traffic will be given a temporary surface. The work will be carried out in the 30th calendar week - probably on 25 and 26 July 2017. The lane will be closed for the duration of the construction work and traffic will be routed alternately in both directions via the opposite lane using traffic lights.
