The Metropolitan Region East is an attractive business location, but most people know it primarily as a recreational destination. Not many people are aware that we have the largest employer in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district, the healthcare industry, and that it is a significant growth sector for the Märkisch-Oderland district. However, the tourism industry and industry, especially the logistics sector, are also of great importance in our region and offer many people attractive jobs and training opportunities. For the first time, the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin has therefore joined forces with five municipalities from Märkisch-Oderland, the municipality of Ahrensfelde and the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf to hold a joint careers fair for the East Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region on 9 and 10 March 2018 in Petershagen/Eggersdorf.
The joint fair will increase the target group and give a wider range of companies the opportunity to present themselves. With the regional two-day training and study fair "Career Compass", the previous careers information days in the region will be bundled into one programme. Under the leadership of the regional management, the fair will be realised in the Giebelseehalle together with the local business development agencies, the IHK Ostbrandenburg, the district of Märkisch-Oderland and the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district office's business development centre.
For companies and institutions, the Career Compass is an ideal opportunity to present the attractiveness of their company/institution to their future specialists, to introduce their training programmes and to provide further insights.
We therefore cordially invite you to present yourself and your training opportunities, introduce individual job profiles and answer visitors' questions. The programme will also include presentations, workshops and panel discussions.
The fair offers you the opportunity to make direct contact with students, make a lasting impression and recruit potential trainees and employees for your company.
Participation in the fair is free of charge. No stand fees will be charged.
