From 17 April, passengers on the Schöneicher-Rüdersdorfer Straßenbahn (SRS) will experience traffic disruptions at the Rüdersdorf Berghof stop. The reason for this is construction work at the Berghof stop.
In the area of the stop, the existing platform slabs in the direction of Rüdersdorf have to be demolished for the further expansion of the line. As a replacement, a temporary platform has been built behind the track curve in the direction of the motorway bridge. There is an approx. 250 metre long footpath to this point. The onward journey in the direction of Schöneiche and S-Bahnhof. Friedrichshagen will continue from the existing stop.
In this context, it is necessary to close the junction of Berghofer Weg and Schöneicher Landstraße (L302) from 16 April at 07:00 until 21 April. Drivers are requested to use the road at Stolp to avoid the roadworks in accordance with the diversion signs.
Among other things, the Berghof and Berghof-Weiche stops will be rebuilt to be disabled-friendly and the route will be prepared for the use of modern low-floor trams. The timetables will remain valid, although there may be slight delays in the direction of Friedrichshagen. The timetables are available on the SRS website at "www.srs-tram.de", from the customer office at the depot in Schöneiche and from SRS sales agencies.
We apologise to our passengers and the residents affected for any inconvenience caused and wish you a pleasant journey.
