B 1 fully closed for one week - from 7 September 2020

As part of the construction work for the new cycle path from Lichtenow to the junction of the L 385 state road towards Kienbaum (Märkisch-Oderland), the construction of an island at the entrance to Lichtenow is also planned. For the construction work, the Bundesstraße 1 towards Müncheberg and Frankfurt (Oder) will be fully closed from 7 September to 11 September 2020. A one-way closure is not possible due to the limited space available.

A diversion will be set up for through traffic. Traffic travelling in the direction of Müncheberg / Frankfurt (Oder) will be routed from the junction of the B 1 with the Herzfelde bypass via the state road L 23 to the state roads
L 38 and L 35 via Fürstenwalde. From there, traffic will be diverted via the L 36 to the B 5 in Heinersdorf. Traffic travelling in the direction of Müncheberg and Poland will continue from here via the B 5 to the B 1.
In the direction of Berlin, traffic on the B 1 will be diverted from Müncheberg via the B 168 to Fürstenwalde and from there via the L 35, L 38 and L 23 to the B 1 / Herzfelde bypass. For traffic travelling on the B 5 in the direction of Berlin, a diversion will be set up from Heinersdorf via the L 36 to Fürstenwalde.
Pedestrians and cyclists can use the temporary bypass to get past the roadworks. .
The full closure and diversion route will be announced one week before the full closure with appropriate signage.
We ask road users to pay attention and to understand the restrictions.
