The district of Märkisch-Oderland has published the applications for emergency childcare on its website. The forms have changed due to the amended basis of the currently valid Containment Ordinance.
The applications are processed by the district of Märkisch-Oderland and must also be submitted there, in advance by email to:
kita_Notbetreuung(at)landkreismol.de
From 18 January 2021, single parents will also be entitled to emergency childcare.
No application is necessary for kindergartens - the daycare centres are open as normal. However, there is an appeal from the state government to look after kindergarten children at home if possible.
The district of Märkisch-Oderland describes the procedure for emergency care as follows:
"Dear parents,
should you wish to apply for emergency childcare for your child from 4 January 2021, please note the following:
- Please refer to the new Containment Ordinance to find out to what extent you are entitled to claim.
- Send the completed and signed application by e-mail to kita_Notbetreuung(at)landkreismol.de
- You can only use the district's application form.
- You will find the application form at the bottom of this page
- Your application will be processed as quickly as possible. Please refrain from making enquiries by telephone.
- With your notification, you can make direct use of the support.
- If you wish to make use of the emergency care during school hours (VHG time of 6 hours), you must notify the school immediately.
- Emergency care in the after-school care centre can only be used outside school hours. Please contact the after-school care centre in advance and register.
- Please note that your child is entitled to emergency care if both legal guardians work in the critical infrastructure areas listed in the Containment Ordinance. Confirmation from the employer must therefore also be submitted by both legal guardians.
- If a person with parental responsibility works in inpatient or outpatient medical or nursing care, only one confirmation is required.
Thank you very much and stay healthy!"
