The EMO is expanding its digital offering due to positive feedback and high demand.
Until now, it has been possible to apply for bulky waste collection online via the MOL waste app or the waste management company's website. From September, five further application options can be completed paperless:
- the application for a new property,
- the notification of a change of ownership,
- Orders for container modifications,
- the request for skip containers and
- the registration of hazardous waste disposal in the collection system.
The new digital application options standardise the processing of applications and also offer the advantage that the citizen who submits the application receives an automatic confirmation of receipt as well as information on the processing status of their application electronically.
Telephone enquiries as to whether an application has been received and when the container will be delivered will therefore no longer be necessary in future.
The AbfallApp MOL is available free of charge in the Apple and Google AppStores.
All online applications can also be found on the EMO website(www.maerkisch-oderland.de/entsorgungsbetrieb) under the menu item "Online Services" and in the service portal of the Märkisch-Oderland district(www.service.lkmol.de).
