Ausstellung: „Life Intersection“ von Gisèle Nubuhoro

"My artwork takes you on a journey of my personal experiences. What I have been through has taught me a lot about life; there is no formula for life. When natural disasters or wars occur, everyone reacts in the same way, regardless of their skin colour, origin, cultural orientation or language. In this sense, we humans have something in common that I call the human intersection. My artworks contain a message of hope for people on the run and for society as a whole, a message of humanity and tolerance."

Gisèle Nubuhoro is a German citizen, born and raised in Kigali, Rwanda. With a bachelor's degree in economics, she is employed as an accountant. She discovered her passion for painting more than 10 years ago. In her free time, she works on acrylic paintings in palette knife and mixed media and is particularly interested in abstract painting.

Die Kunstwerke können in den Rathausfluren im 1. und 2. Obergeschoss bis zum 3. Januar 2025 während der allgemeinen Öffnungszeiten des Rathauses besichtigt werden.

Die Ausstellung eröffnet am Dienstag, den 15. Oktober um 17 Uhr im Ratssaal des Rathauses. Nach der Eröffnung durch die Bürgermeisterin, wird die Künstlerin Einblicke in ihre Arbeit, Inspirationen und Schaffensprozesse geben. Umrahmt wird das Programm musikalisch durch die Musikschule Hugo Distler.
