Swimming in the Rüdersdorf lakes (Großer and Kleiner Stienitzsee and Kalksee) is currently safe. An investigation by the district health authority has shown that the water clarity at all three lakes was within the normal range (> 1.0 m). There is therefore no suspicion of blue-green algae concentrations that could be harmful to humans.
