Press release 2023/32 from the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin
With immediate effect, residents of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin have the opportunity to comment on the draft of the municipality’s tourism strategy. The public consultation is being conducted online via MaerkerPlus (accessible at www.ruedersdorf.de) and will run until 20 September 2023.
This marks the final phase of the plan for the future tourism strategy of this former mining community. Three public workshops have already taken place. The results have been incorporated into the current draft.
The tourism strategy is intended to supplement and flesh out the statements and measures relating to tourism set out in the updated Integrated Urban Development Strategy for the municipality, as well as to summarise the key framework conditions and objectives for future tourism development.
In parallel with the online consultation, the plan is currently being debated in the specialist committees and is due to be adopted in autumn 2023.
