Buses in Märkisch-Oderland will resume their school timetable from 27 April

From Monday 27 April, buses in Märkisch-Oderland will resume their regular timetable. Here is the full press release from the district:

In a statement issued by Minister-President Dietmar Woidke on 15 April 2020, the partial reopening of schools from 4 May 2020 was announced. Now, Year 10 pupils will be able to resume normal school attendance ahead of schedule, starting next Monday. Due to the long distances in rural areas, the district authority, as the body responsible for public transport, has decided to bring forward the reinstatement of the regular school timetable. Consequently, the full timetable will be reinstated as during normal school terms for all schools in the district from Monday, 27 April 2020.

In this context, we would like to inform you that, according to the Brandenburg Ministry of Education, 22 May 2020, the Friday after Ascension Day, is a variable holiday. On this day, services will run according to the holiday timetable only.
