On 11 October 2025, the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin, together with the Chamber of Skilled Crafts Frankfurt (Oder) - Region Ostbrandenburg, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Ostbrandenburg, the Employment Agency and the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB), invites you to the third edition of the Colourful Mile on the premises of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts in Hennickendorf (Hennickendorf district, Rehfelder Straße 50, 15378 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin) from 10 am to 1 pm.
Under the motto "Training and working where YOU live", this year's colourful careers and training fair will once again feature 40 companies and institutions from the region - with many new exhibitors: for example, a chimney sweep company, an optician's shop, the Neuenhagen glassworks and, for the first time, the Wriezen correctional facility will be represented.
One focus in 2025 will be on social professions and the care sector - many employers from these areas will be presenting themselves with exciting insights and dialogue opportunities. In addition, the region's major employers - Cemex, Rüdersdorf Hospital and GPI - will once again be on site, as will small and medium-sized companies, including Nemitz Metallbau, the Wölkchen company and local craft firms.
A special highlight: Heinitz-Gymnasium will be represented twice this year - with its robotics club and the student company, which will be printing customised bags on site, offering hands-on creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as inspiring the audience with exciting live demonstrations.
Once again this year, there will be a quiz in the form of a hands-on sheet inviting visitors to familiarise themselves with many of the stations. In addition to various hands-on and experience offers, such as virtual painting, welding, disassembling an engine with VR glasses or checking hand disinfection using a UV lamp, there will also be numerous counselling offers.
The open training workshops of the Chamber of Crafts invite you to join in, there are demonstrations and activities to try out - ideal for anyone who wants to discover their interests in a practical way. The Chamber of Crafts canteen will cater for the physical well-being of all visitors.
