On Friday, 19 September 2025, the 19th community rally of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin will take place. Once again this year, all seventh-grade classes from Rüdersdorf primary and secondary school will be taking part. In groups of 12 pupils, they will explore the district in a very special way.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., the groups set off from the Protestant community centre to seven stations in the Rüdersdorf district. The aim of the rally is to familiarise the young people with the various facilities and clubs in the community. Small puzzles, sporting tasks or creative challenges await the pupils at the stations - always with the aim of learning more about the respective organisations and their work in a fun way.
This year's participants are:
- Rüdersdorf Mining Association 1990 e.V.
- Rüdersdorfer Ruderverein Kalkberge e.V.
- SV "Glück Auf" Rüdersdorf e.V.
- WIBB GmbH "Notausgang" youth centre
- Volunteer fire brigade Rüdersdorf
- Rüdersdorf Municipal Library
- Kalkberg church with the Protestant community centre
The rally is supported not only by the school social pedagogues, class teachers and committed parents, but also for the first time by a class of prospective educators from the "Paula Fürst" School for Vocational Training (FAWz) in Fürstenwalde, who are actively involved in accompanying the group.
The evaluation of the rally will again take place in the Protestant community centre. The points collected will be evaluated there, the winning groups will be honoured and all participants will be provided with a small snack (sausages, sandwiches, sandwiches). The event is scheduled to end at around 13:30.
The community rally has been organised annually by the youth working group of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin since 2004. The aim is to get young people excited about their place of learning and school and to familiarise them with the wide range of offers and opportunities right on their doorstep.
