At its meeting on 19 December 2024, the municipal council of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin narrowly rejected the proposed amendment to the dog tax bylaws as of 1 January 2025 by a tie vote. However, due to the amended dog owner ordinance of the state of Brandenburg, a short-term adjustment is absolutely necessary. The municipal administration will submit a new proposal to the municipal council committees at the beginning of the year.
