The SVU Dresden (City - Traffic - Environment) has been commissioned by the State Office for the Environment to carry out traffic surveys on Brandenburg's main roads. Two survey points are also planned in Rüdersdorf for this purpose. The installation and dismantling of the counting masts is carried out without leaving any residue and without disrupting traffic.
The survey will be carried out in the period from 7 July to 20 July 2025 at the following locations:
- Karl-Liebknecht-Straße section (between Herzfelder Straße and Marienstraße). The location is at the level of Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 3a. Both directions of travel are recorded.
- Mountain road section. Both directions of travel are recorded.
The data collected serves, among other things, as a basis for future planning for the expansion and maintenance of federal and state roads as well as for traffic management.
