The demolition of the NP hall in the Brückenstraße residential area is currently on hold. The necessary test results from the building materials laboratories have now been available since last week, meaning that the demolition materials can be disposed of. The contractor is expected to resume work in the third calendar week of 2024 (depending on weather conditions). The aim is to complete the demolition work by 31 March 2024. The connecting road will be built after the market has been completely demolished and the excavation pit/cellar has been backfilled. This is expected to take place by the end of May 2024. Please note that all deadlines can only be met if the weather is favourable. Further demolition and backfilling work will be carried out during the winter months. Weather-related interruptions cannot be ruled out.
