The water festival at Kalksee was once again a complete success this year. Accompanied by wonderful weather, thousands of people of all ages celebrated last weekend for the 13th time on the club grounds of the Rüderdorf rowing club. The Saturday was particularly special, as the theme was "Pirates". On water and on land, countless pirates and pirate brides, big and small, sang, danced and even recovered a treasure. As every year, the dragon boat race was the grand finale to the festivities. We - the municipality of Rüdersdorf - would like to take this opportunity to thank all the organisers, guests and performers for this wonderful weekend at Kalksee.
