At its meeting on 19 September, the Executive Board of the Local Action Group (LAG) Märkische Seen e.V. set the budget for what is now the 8th project selection procedure of the current 2014 - 2020 funding period and aims to enable further projects to apply for funding from the EU's LEADER funding programme. A total of € 2.5 million in funding is to be committed in the course of the order date on 13 November 2017.
In this funding period, the Märkische Seen LAG has a total of € 18 million in EAFRD funding from the European Agricultural Fund at its disposal, which is partly co-financed with funds from the state of Brandenburg. To date, 33 projects with a funding volume of just under € 7 million have been approved and a further 25 projects are still in the approval process.
Project sponsors who wish to submit a project for funding by 17 October 2017 should contact the office to clarify the general conditions of the procedure.
