Traffic counts are currently being carried out on behalf of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin at several locations in the municipal area. The corresponding devices are located at existing traffic signs in Straße der Jugend, Am Landhof in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße and in Rüdersdorfer Straße, among others. These serve as the basis for the noise action plan stage 3, which is currently being processed.
At the same time, traffic data is being collected in other road sections for the Brandenburg State Office for the Environment (LfU). These are required as a basis for future immission calculations (air, noise).
The surveys are mainly carried out using side radar technology. Only the vehicles are counted and categorised into vehicle classes. No faces, licence plate numbers or other personal data are recorded.
