The 18th Brandenburg Seniors' Week under the motto "Socially secure, active living - for all generations" began with the Seniors' Festival in the Kulturhaus and ended with the Town Hall Talk on Friday 27 May.
Once again this year - including the senior citizens' festival, the senior citizens' gymnastics workshop in the Kulturhaus, the meeting in the Protestant community centre with people in special circumstances, the meeting with young and old, the town hall discussion - a colourful supporting programme was offered that certainly met every taste.
One highlight of this Senior Citizens' Week was certainly the presentation of the four mayoral candidates in the town hall discussion last Friday. André Schaller, Jörg Lehmann, Detlef Adler and Wolfgang Paschke spent an hour and a half answering questions from the senior citizens.
Once again, this year's Seniors' Week was a complete success. We are now looking forward with great expectations to the 19th Brandenburg Seniors' Week, which will most likely be opened by the Brandenburg Minister President in the Kulturhaus in Rüdersdorf.
