From 03.08.-31.08.09 a rail replacement service with buses will be set up on the Tram 88 line. The section of line affected is between the Berghof stop and the Alt-Rüdersdorf terminus. The reason for the construction work is the upgrading of tracks and crossings between Kalkberger Platz and the motorway bridge. The Torellplatz and Heinitzstraße stops will be redesigned to make them more accessible for the disabled and the section of line will be prepared for the use of modern tram cars.
