Climate protection council of the municipality
The municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin has decided to have a municipal energy and climate protection concept drawn up. seecon Ingenieure GmbH was commissioned to draw up the concept, which is to form the basis for future political decisions. The commissioned office is supporting and moderating this process. The optimisation of municipal buildings and street lighting, the use of waste heat potential and renewable energies will play a major role. The process will begin with a comprehensive data analysis, which will also take into account existing concepts (local transport plan, land use plan, noise action plan, etc.).
A climate council will be set up to support the process. In addition to members of parliament, the business community and the municipal administration, I would also like to give citizens the opportunity to participate. I would be delighted if there was a great deal of interest in participating in the climate council, as the involvement of local stakeholders ensures transparency, different perspectives and stimulating discussions. The interim results of the concept development will be presented in 3 to 4 workshops in 2016 and measures for the future will be developed together.
The workshops are expected to take place in the evening.
