There's a lot to do around the grave after winter. Just like the gardens, the graves naturally want to be spruced up again after the winter. Many people use the time around Easter to cover the graves and replant and prepare them. As part of this, the cemetery administration has put the taps back into operation at all cemeteries.
Some of the work is difficult to carry out and it is often physically challenging to lay new earth. However, please note that it is not permitted to drive into the cemeteries with your car. Unfortunately, disregarding this rule has already resulted in damage - both to the paths and to the grave borders of other graves. I am sure you can sympathise with how disappointing this is for the relatives who have transformed the gravesite into an important place of remembrance with tasteful grave planting and decorative elements.
