Huge crowds at the jetty in Woltersdorf: on 22 July, the "Kaiserdampfer" sailed from Flakensee lake on a grand tour across Stienitzsee lake to the museum park and operetta stage. Originally planned by local history and cultural associations as a 3-tower tour on the water, it was then co-organised by the culture makers in Rüdersdorf. The municipalities of Rüdersdorf and Woltersdorf have developed the tower diploma as a tourist attraction, which you receive when you climb the Wachtelturm in Hennickendorf, the Glockenturm in the museum park and the observation tower on the Kranichsberg. We now travelled along these three towers on the water. Rüdersdorfer Kultur GmbH chartered the boat and also marketed package prices for the evening performance, so the boat was filled and thus financed, which would not have been possible for the clubs to raise. Of course, as always, Minister Vogelsänger supported the project - he is one of the constant helpers in promoting our region. Mayor Margitta Decker from Woltersdorf and her colleague André Schaller from Rüdersdorf were also guests on the trip. At the stopover in Rüdersdorf, pop star Patrick Lindner got on board (hence the name of the boat, he plays the Emperor in the operetta "Im weißen Rössl"), who had a TV team from ARD in tow. He had also brought along his "Schwuplattler" dancers from Munich, who put everyone in a good mood on the boat. At the end, everyone was able to watch a rehearsal of the operetta stars. "That was a really great idea," said a Lindner admirer who had travelled all the way from Switzerland. "We've been to a lot of events, but the boat trip had a very special flair."
